Role Purpose:

An Irrigation Technician in the landscaping department installs, maintains, and repairs irrigation systems to keep plants and lawns healthy. They check sprinklers, pipes, and pumps, fix leaks, and make sure water is used efficiently. The main purpose is to ensure plants get enough water and the landscape looks good.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, sprinklers, and pipes.

Check pumps, valves, and controllers to ensure proper operation.

Fix leaks and replace damaged parts.

Adjust watering schedules to conserve water and keep plants healthy.

Monitor the irrigation system to ensure efficient water use.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Previous work in irrigation, landscaping, or gardening is preferred.

Basic understanding of irrigation systems, water pumps, valves, and plant watering needs. Awareness of water conservation practices is a plus.

Ability to install and repair irrigation equipment, troubleshoot problems, work with tools, follow safety guidelines, and work well in a team.
