Role Purpose:
A Food & Restaurant Delivery Driver transports raw materials, bulk supplies, or finished meals to businesses and customers. They ensure safe transport, maintain strict hygiene and temperature controls, inspect delivery vehicles, verify invoices, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
- Transportation: Safely drive vehicles to transport goods along designated routes.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely lift, load, and unpack food crates, ingredients, and prepared orders while preventing damage.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring items (especially hot/cold food) are kept at correct temperatures.
- Order Verification: Verify order quantities, and secure necessary delivery confirmations or signatures.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tire pressure), maintain vehicle cleanliness, and promptly report mechanical issues.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Licensing: A valid driver's license (LMV) with a clean driving record and no traffic violations.
- Physical Capability: Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy packages or bulky food supply crates.
- Navigation Skills: Familiarity with local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation apps.
- Soft Skills: Punctual, reliable, and equipped with professional communication skills to handle inquiries or complaints effectively.
