Role Purpose:

To plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities using IBM Maximo, ensuring optimal resource utilization,
timely execution of preventive and corrective work orders, and compliance with asset management standards.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

  • The preparation of short-term working programmes in terms of labour, plant and timescale, for the labour.
  • Create, review, and update preventive maintenance schedules in Maximo based on OEM recommendations
    and operational requirements.
  • Generate, assign, and track work orders (PM and CM) through the Maximo system.
  • Ensure timely closure of work orders and accurate data entry by technicians or supervisors.
  • Monitor asset performance trends and provide reports to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, stores, and procurement teams to ensure material and manpower availability.
  • Update asset records, hierarchies, and maintenance histories in Maximo.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in maintenance workflows and suggest system or process improvements.
  • Support audits and compliance by maintaining accurate Maximo records and documentation.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, with at least 2 years using IBM Maximo.
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS, CAFM systems, and facilities/MEP operations.
