Role Purpose:

The job holder will be primarily responsible to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials, tools, and spare parts required for FM operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely availability of resources

Key Task and Responsibilities:

 Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels (materials, tools, consumables, spare parts).
• Ensure proper storage and identification of items.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconciliation.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.

Receiving & Issuance:

• Receive materials as per purchase orders and verify quantity/quality.
• Record inward and outward movements in the system/manual registers.
• Issue materials to technicians/site teams against approved requisitions.
• Ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

Coordination:

• Coordinate with procurement team for replenishment of stock.
• Liaise with site teams to understand material requirements.
• Follow up with vendors/suppliers for pending deliveries.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), delivery notes, and stock registers.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
• Track material consumption and highlight variances.

Housekeeping & Safety:

• Ensure store is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Proper storage of hazardous materials (if any) as per guidelines.
• Prevent loss, damage, or pilferage of stock.

Compliance & Control:

• Ensure adherence to company policies and audit requirements
• Support internal/external audits
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable 

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Diploma / Graduate in any discipline
• 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in FM / Construction industry
• Experience in ERP systems preferred
• Good knowledge of inventory and store management
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (Excel / ERP systems)
• Coordination and communication skills
• Understanding of FM materials and spare parts
