The Resident Technician is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. The role involves responding to service requests, maintaining equipment, and supporting the overall facilities management operations at the assigned site.
• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC as applicable)
• Attend and resolve maintenance complaints and service requests from occupants
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per the schedule
• Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues related to facility equipment and systems
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and report major issues to the supervisor
• Support emergency maintenance and breakdown calls when required
• Diploma/ITI or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance
• Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency situations
