This position will be responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage service operations. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant and dining area and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Monitors Customer Experience: Understanding the customer journey and monitors customer experience is up to Service standards.
Monitors Sequence of Service: Understands and monitors relevant sections following the defined sequence of services as per restaurant standards.
Monitors Table Maintenance: Table clearance, replenishing, being available for customer requests.
Problem Solving: Ability to resolve escalated customer request in close coordinating with other departments.
Cash and Billing Closure: Correct cash/credit card handling procedure and bill closures
Monitoring Mise-en-Place Service: Ensuring the restaurant/café is prepared for service as per defined standards. Checking on status of stock levels.
Personal Grooming and upkeep: Ensure team grooming standards (always presents in clean uniform)
People and Relationship Management: Facilitates effective communication and engagement at workplace. Facilitates effective work teams.
Conducts Daily Section Briefing: Conducts daily briefing for the section and ensures instructions are understood by the team.
Person In-Charge Certificate: Responsible for ensuring Municipality Compliance and related statutory Compliances.
Innovation and Creativity: Suggests innovations and improvements in service as well as beverages.
Requisitions and Stock Reporting: Creates requisitions for re-ordering items as per par levels and prepares stock reports for Management.
