Role Purpose:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and related systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation of building or industrial water, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ensures compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various types of pumps (centrifugal, submersible, booster, etc.) and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot pump faults, including mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) according to schedules to avoid downtime.
• Replace worn-out parts such as seals, bearings, impellers, and motors.
• Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, and calibration of pumps.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports for all pump systems.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to support HVAC, water, and fire systems as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures during all maintenance tasks.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pump maintenance or mechanical maintenance in buildings, industrial, or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical pump systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, pump manuals, and P&ID diagrams.
• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults in pumps and associated systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and tools.
• Familiarity with safety standards, operational procedures, and emergency response.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
