Role Purpose:

The Soft Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all soft service operations within the facility. This includes housekeeping, cleaning, security, pest control, landscaping, waste management, and other non-technical support services.

The purpose of this role is to ensure a clean, safe, hygienic, and well-maintained environment that enhances occupant satisfaction and supports smooth business operations.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

 

Operational Management

  • Manage day-to-day soft service operations (cleaning, security, pest control, landscaping, waste management).
  • Ensure services are delivered as per contract scope and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for soft services.

2. Team Management

  • Supervise cleaning supervisors, security teams, and outsourced vendors.
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide training and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain discipline and workplace safety standards.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for soft services.
  • Handle client feedback, complaints, and service improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients and vendors.

4. Vendor & Contract Management

  • Manage third-party service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs.
  • Verify invoices and ensure cost control within approved budgets.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
  • Implement hygiene and sanitation protocols.

6. Budget & Reporting

  • Prepare budgets and control operational costs.
  • Generate monthly performance and incident reports.
  • Monitor consumption of cleaning materials and supplies.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management / Business Administration (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in soft services or facilities management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations
  • Vendor management experience
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
