Role Purpose:

 The Light Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of personnel, goods, and materials using company light vehicles. The role ensures vehicles are operated in compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards, while supporting operational efficiency.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

. Driving & Transportation

• Safely operate light vehicles (cars, vans, small trucks) for official purposes.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of personnel, clients, and materials.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet schedules.

2. Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform routine vehicle inspections (oil, brakes, tires, lights, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicle.

3. Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Maintain proper vehicle documents (registration, insurance, permits).
• Follow safety protocols for passengers, cargo, and hazardous materials if applicable.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
• Submit reports to fleet or transport supervisor as required.

5. Support Tasks

• Assist with loading/unloading goods when necessary.
• Support other operational tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Valid light vehicle driving license (with minimum required experience as per local law).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a driver, preferably in corporate or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of local routes, traffic rules, and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills.
• Basic communication skills for coordination with staff and clients.
• Physically fit to handle occasional loading/unloading.
