Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager – Healthcare Services is responsible for establishing, managing, and scaling home healthcare services, including the deployment and operational management of nurses, physiotherapy technicians, and laboratory technicians for home-based services.
The role will lead end-to-end operations covering clinical governance, manpower planning, regulatory compliance, service quality, client coordination, and financial performance. The incumbent will ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of home care services in line with DHA / DOH regulations and company standards.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
Home Care Operations Management
- Lead day-to-day operations of home healthcare services, including nursing, physiotherapy, and diagnostic home services.
- Ensure effective scheduling, deployment, and utilisation of clinical staff for home visits.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, clinical protocols, and patient care standards.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with DHA / DOH / MOHAP regulations applicable to home healthcare services.
- Establish and enforce clinical policies, SOPs, infection control standards, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and licensing activities related to home healthcare operations.
Manpower Planning & Resource Management
- Plan, recruit, onboard, and manage qualified nurses, physiotherapists, and lab technicians in coordination with HR.
- Ensure staff credentials, licenses, certifications, and renewals are valid and maintained.
- Monitor productivity, competency, and performance of clinical teams and initiate corrective actions where required.
Service Quality & Patient Experience
- Drive high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction across all home services.
- Address patient complaints, service escalations, and quality issues promptly and professionally.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service outcomes and patient experience.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Liaise with healthcare partners, insurance providers, labs, and internal stakeholders to ensure service alignment.
- Support business development initiatives by providing operational inputs for proposals and service models.
- Build strong relationships with clients, patients, and referral partners.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and resource optimisation for home care services.
- Monitor revenue, margins, and cost drivers related to manpower-intensive home healthcare operations.
- Support pricing, costing, and service feasibility assessments for new home care offerings.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare operational, clinical, and management reports covering KPIs, utilisation, compliance, and service quality.
- Track performance trends and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on operational performance and risks
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Life Sciences, or related field
- Master’s degree in healthcare management or public health (preferred)
Experience:
- 8–10+ years of experience in healthcare operations, home care services, or clinical service management
- Proven experience managing nurses, allied health professionals, and diagnostic services
- Strong exposure to UAE healthcare regulatory frameworks
