Role Purpose:

Machine Operator supports the landscaping team by safely operating equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, mini-loaders, and other machinery used for grounds maintenance. The role ensures that parks, gardens, and outdoor areas are kept clean, healthy, and well-maintained. The operator follows daily work schedules, performs basic machine checks, and assists the landscaping crew with general tasks to keep the worksite running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

Machine Operator is responsible for supporting daily landscaping activities by handling machinery during mowing, trimming, and surface-level maintenance tasks. The role includes helping transport materials, preparing work areas, and keeping equipment clean and ready for use. The operator must follow instructions carefully, maintain safe work practices, and ensure that all tasks are completed on time to support the overall upkeep of outdoor spaces.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience operating landscaping or light construction machinery.
• Basic knowledge of machine safety and routine maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of landscaping tasks and tools
