Role Purpose:

Water Treatment Technician is responsible for supporting the daily operation of water treatment facilities to ensure clean, safe, and compliant water output. The purpose of this role is to operate and maintain treatment equipment, monitor water quality, and assist in maintaining uninterrupted plant operations while following safety standards and local regulations in UAE

Key Task and Responsibilities:

A Water Treatment Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment systems to ensure safe and efficient water quality for industrial, commercial, or municipal use. Key tasks include monitoring treatment processes, testing water quality, operating pumps and filtration equipment, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with local safety and environmental regulations. The technician also keeps basic records, reports system issues, and follows standard operating procedures to support continuous and reliable plant operations.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic to moderate experience in water or wastewater treatment operations
• Experience working with pumps, filters, valves, and dosing systems
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and water quality standards
• Ability to perform routine water testing and record results
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of safety procedures and chemical handling
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and operating manuals
• Physically fit and able to work in plant or site environments
• Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
