Role Purpose:

The Swimming Pool Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of swimming pools. This role ensures that water quality meets health standards, equipment operates efficiently, and swimmers enjoy a safe environment. The purpose of this position is to provide a safe, clean, and well-maintained swimming facility by monitoring water quality, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Key Task and Responsibilities:

A Swimming Pool Operator is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of swimming pools. Their key tasks include monitoring water quality, testing and adjusting chemical levels, cleaning the pool and surrounding areas, operating filtration and circulation systems, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. They also handle routine inspections, report any equipment malfunctions, and provide assistance to swimmers when necessary, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Prior experience in swimming pool maintenance, water treatment, or related roles.
• Understanding of pool chemical balancing and water quality management, filtration and circulation systems, health and safety regulations, and basic mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, ability to follow safety procedures, good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently when required.
