Role Purpose:

A BMS (Building Management System) Operator in the UAE is responsible for monitoring and controlling a building’s mechanical, electrical, and safety systems to ensure smooth, energy-efficient, and safe operation. The job involves supervising HVAC, lighting, power, security, and fire-alarm systems through the BMS platform, responding to alarms, performing basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with maintenance teams. The purpose of the role is to maintain optimal building performance, reduce energy consumption, support preventative maintenance, and ensure a comfortable and secure environment for occupants.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all building systems through the BMS including HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire alarms, and access controls.
• Respond promptly to alarms and system alerts, taking corrective action as required.
• Log, report, and escalate issues to the concerned maintenance or engineering team.
• Perform daily system checks and ensure optimal operation of all monitored systems.
• Assist in preventive maintenance schedules by providing system status and alerts.
• Ensure system data is logged, analyzed, and archived properly.
• Support energy management initiatives and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Maintenance experience in BMS
• 2 years of GCC Experience or 5 years of experience in FM Industry or maintenance 
• ITI Certified preferred 
• Good understanding of Languages (English/Hindi)
