The purpose of this role would center around ‘Strategic and Operational execution given to the Business by defining and shaping the boundaries of the business, sensing how changes occurring anywhere in the organization impact upon the whole and ensuring the internal and external viability of the business as a financial and social entity. The prime focus of this position will be to strategically drive the business to meet shareholder value maximization, customer expectations, prevent problems & strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for the business & clients. This position is responsible for all Operational, Financial & Strategic aspects of the F&B business’ overall portfolio including Trouvaille and other new businesses within it. overall accountable for business expansion from its current capacity to multiple Outlets and ensures continues growth & profitability.
Strategy: Accountable for setting the strategic direction for the F&B business portfolio. One of the key accountabilities is the choice and creation of the concept/service/market portfolio for the business identifying new entry and exit opportunities and foreseeing and responding to future trends in the industry or sector. Also accountable for setting the context for “value creation” for the business, defining the parameters for success and achieving overall business goals and objectives. Comprehend business objectives objectively from a risk perspective and proactively establish checks and controls to mitigate the same to ensure business continuity. Shareholder value maximization: As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, translate the shareholder vision of Khansaheb Lifestyle into reality. Establish and review key strategic priorities, transform them into a comprehensive strategic plan and further into actionable goals for performance and growth. Contribute to the overall process of management and corporate decision making to ensure that short, medium- and long-term business goals translate into maximized shareholder value.
P & L Responsibility: Heading the business, be accountable in creation of value and execution of business goals at Khansaheb Lifestyle and successfully manage the Profit and Loss statements of Khansaheb Lifestyle as a top performing business within the industry. Direct and improve, operations, business development, sales and marketing, logistics, supply chain functions to establish and drive business goals. Create strategic business plans and allocate resources to support Khansaheb Investments’ financial objectives.
Market expansion and Business Development: Strengthen current market position and grow market shares for various outlets / concepts under Khansaheb Lifestyle. Responsible to develop business development plans and budgets in tandem with the team to achieve and exceed the annual revenue objectives for the business. Anticipate customer / market requirements and proactively develop solutions to meet those needs. Keep abreast of industry knowledge and latest innovations to maintain market lead. Evaluate and advise about key investments in markets, concepts, infrastructure, and talent. Responsible for feasibility studies to support future strategic growth plans for Khansaheb Lifestyle. Account for successful introduction and driving of new concepts / outlets locally in the domestic market as well as extending to international locations. Drive plans to capture additional market share through successful market penetration strategies.
Brand Building: Analyze how the Khansaheb Lifestyle brand is positioned in the market, ensure brand responsibility and accountability for developing the brand, positioning of the organization’s portfolio of concepts, and maintaining the brand integrity across regional and international markets.
Change Management: The role-holder will be responsible for leading change by ensuring that systems, products, and services are fully aligned with the business strategy. The role-holder is expected to anticipate and forecast change, without merely extrapolating from past data, and evaluate the compatibility of possible changes with business objectives. Initiating the introduction of new systems, products or services or terminating old ones which no longer meet strategic requirements.

General Management: Whilst focusing on achieving the vision for Khansaheb Lifestyle, brace up and take on operational and transactional matters where needed. Take a strategic overview of business requirements to analyze activities, costs, operations & forecast data to determine business progress & future course of action. Recommend areas where business policy issues need to be reassessed. Evaluate & establish the feasibility of new or revised business proposals, products, markets(geographies) & principal relationships. Responsible for adhering to all company policies within the business.
Risk Management and Compliance: Oversee strict compliance with all Health, Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements. Maintain a safe work environment, manage compliance with F&B health and safety policies and procedures as per industry standards, government regulations and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Hospitality or Business Administration) and a qualification in Business Management with 20+ years of overall experience in progressively responsible management roles of which at least 15 years in independently heading multiple businesses in the F&B, hospitality, leisure / sports segments in the region
Preferably a multi-lingual candidate with experience in the Middle East and knowledge of other international markets with robust history of achieving and surpassing revenue objectives
Proven background in effective management of P&L, as well as the ability to meet and exceed key performance metrics so that business objectives are met.
