Role Purpose:

To oversee the day-to-day operations of staff/labour accommodations, ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant living environment for all residents, while managing support staff, logistics, and maintenance coordination.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of camp operations including housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and security.
  • Ensure all camp facilities (rooms, toilets, kitchens, common areas) are clean, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy, staff movement, and room allocation.
  • Coordinate with HR and transport teams for smooth onboarding, offboarding, and transportation of employees.
  • Monitor camp discipline, hygiene standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle employee complaints, welfare needs, and resolve minor disputes within the camp.
  • Ensure utilities (water, electricity, gas) are functioning and liaise with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and submit reports on camp conditions and required improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage, issuance, and accountability of camp supplies and assets.

Room Allocation & Lease Management:

  1. Maintain bed space allocation, Occupancy records, check-in & check-out and keep a tracker.
  2. Maintain tenancy contracts and inform Landlord/Procurement of timely renewals.
  3. Implementing and maintaining room key records and changing keys/locks at certain intervals.
  4. Monitor accommodation-related expenses and submit reports.
  5. Liaise with landlords, contractors, and service providers.

Employee relations:

  1. Maintain grievance register and address the Operatives issues. Weekly/Monthly report to HR & HSE.
  2. Incident reporting – timely reporting incidents to concern department and maintain records.
  3. Petty cash handling – For medical emergencies and miscellaneous.
  4. Ensure accommodations meet health, safety, and municipal standards.

Documentation & Compliance:

  1. Manage utility bills (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA), visa-related housing documents (Tawtheeq in Abu Dhabi), and permits.
  2. Manage Pest control, water tank cleaning, safety equipment’s availability and expiry in coordination with the Landlord & HSE and maintain records.
  3. Keep accurate records for audits and inspections, need expertise in DM, MOHRE inspections.
  4. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws for the occupancy of operatives.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or facility management certification is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in managing staff/labour accommodation, preferably in the GCC/FM sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiar with local labour laws, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and record-keeping.
  • Multilingual ability (Hindi, English, Arabic or others) is an added advantage.
