Role Purpose:

To plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities using IBM Maximo, ensuring optimal resource utilization, timely execution of preventive and corrective work orders, and compliance with asset management standards.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

The preparation of short-term working programmes in terms of labour, plant and timescale, for the labour.

Create, review, and update preventive maintenance schedules in Maximo based on OEM recommendations and operational requirements.

Generate, assign, and track work orders (PM and CM) through the Maximo system.

Ensure timely closure of work orders and accurate data entry by technicians or supervisors.

Monitor asset performance trends and provide reports to support decision-making.

Coordinate with maintenance, stores, and procurement teams to ensure material and manpower availability.

Update asset records, hierarchies, and maintenance histories in Maximo.

Identify gaps or inefficiencies in maintenance workflows and suggest system or process improvements.

Support audits and compliance by maintaining accurate Maximo records and documentation.


Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

2 + years of of experience in maintenance planning, with at least 2 years using IBM Maximo.

Strong knowledge of asset management and preventive maintenance practices.

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Familiarity with CMMS, CAFM systems, and facilities/MEP operations.
