Role Purpose:

The Procurement Senior Buyer is responsible for developing, negotiating, implementing, and managing long-term procurement contracts with suppliers to ensure sustained value delivery, compliance, and continuity of supply. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to establish strategic sourcing agreements aligned with the organization's operational and financial goals.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of long-term agreements with key suppliers across relevant categories.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand long-term business needs and translate them into procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an active database of contracts, monitor expiry and renewal timelines, and drive timely renegotiation or extension.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, manage performance reviews, and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Mitigate supply risks by establishing multi-year contracts with qualified vendors and developing supplier contingency plans.
  • Provide analytical support for contract pricing, terms, and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments.
  • Manage procurement documentation, approvals, and reporting in alignment with organizational governance.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in strategic sourcing or contract management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation techniques, and supplier management principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Industry experience in Facility Management is an advantage.
