Role Purpose:

The Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas by performing tasks such as planting, pruning, watering, mowing, fertilizing, and pest control. The role ensures the greenery remains healthy, attractive, and well-kept according to company or client standards

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Plant, trim, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the landscape.
• Operate and maintain basic gardening tools and equipment.
• Water plants manually or monitor automated irrigation systems.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any landscape issues to the supervisor.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• A good understanding of plant identification, growth requirements, and common diseases and pests is essential.
• Proficiency in planting, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, and other gardening practices.
• Experience in operating and maintaining various landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with facility management staff, contractors, and other team members.
