Role Purpose:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of projects related to the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities and infrastructure. This includes coordinating resources, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for FM services. Oversee mobilization, transition, and operational setup for new FM contracts. Ensure smooth execution of soft and hard FM services, including MEP, housekeeping, security, and landscaping.

Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring service excellence. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies. Conduct regular client meetings to review performance and address feedback.

Operations & Service Delivery: Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Oversee the deployment of resources, manpower, and equipment for optimal performance. Monitor FM service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Financial & Budget Management: Prepare project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability. Track and report financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and cost-saving initiatives. Support contract negotiations and variations as required.

Compliance & Health & Safety: Ensure all FM activities comply with local regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental policies. Implement risk assessment measures and drive a safety-first culture. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies.

Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and motivate the FM project team, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Conduct performance evaluations and training programs for staff development. Foster a collaborative and customer-focused work environment. Development of PM Schedules, Job plans, Method of statements, Safety plans, & life cycle costing of equipment / system / facilities / infrastructure.


Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management or project management within a relevant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), construction processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
