Role Purpose:

The job holder will be primarily responsible for coordinating & assisting Tradesman/workers for carrying out periodic site/maintenance work progress in all day-to-day activities, ensuring all technical works in accordance with specification and project management manual. First line manager of staff from all disciplines employed on contracts.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management:
Oversee and manage reactive maintenance and repairs of civil assets, including structural repairs, masonry, carpentry, and painting.
Provide technical support and guidance to the team in all aspects of civil maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Monitor work status in the CAFM system or equivalent tools (such as Excel) to ensure civil tasks are progressing as planned.
Involve in troubleshooting and technical investigations for any issues related to civil infrastructure.
Prepare estimates for additional works and generate quotations for clients when required.

Resource Management:
Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal use for reactive maintenance and troubleshooting activities related to civil works.
Manage inventory in the CAFM system or equivalent tools, ensuring that consumables and materials related to civil maintenance are available as needed.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory levels and usage within the CAFM system or equivalent tools for civil maintenance materials.

Safety & Compliance:
Plan and schedule reactive maintenance work for civil tasks, ensuring that a safe system of work is in place for all activities, including structural, masonry, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Lead by example, setting high standards for safe working practices and adherence to safety regulations in civil maintenance.
Set personnel to work, ensuring proper supervision and monitoring to guarantee adherence to safety standards and instructions during civil works.
Provide feedback and guidance to the team to ensure continuous improvement in safe working practices specific to civil maintenance.
Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed during all civil-related tasks.

Civil Maintenance:
Conduct regular QHSE inspections (L10) of civil infrastructure, ensuring the building and structural integrity meet safety standards.
Ensure timely reporting and resolution of all civil maintenance issues and addressing reactive maintenance tasks as they arise.
Provide technical support and engage in troubleshooting efforts for complex civil maintenance challenges to ensure timely and effective restoration of services.
Ensure that civil maintenance work complies with safety regulations and the highest quality standards.

Customer Satisfaction:
Liaise directly with clients or their representatives to ensure that civil reactive maintenance and additional works meet the required specifications and expectations.
Prepare detailed technical reports and estimates for additional works and generate quotations for clients as needed.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of civil maintenance issues.

Quality Control:
Report, process, and address any identified deficiencies or concerns related to reactive maintenance, testing, and inspection of civil infrastructure during any phase of the project, in accordance with company quality procedures.
Ensure that all civil maintenance work is completed to the required standards and within agreed timeframes.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Civil Engineering /Diploma with 5 years’ Experience in FM field.
IOSH Supervising Safely or Equivalent
At least 4 years’ experience in Engineering role.
Good Knowledge in all elements of FM services.
Fluency in English, Additional Language is a plus.
Computer knowledge is a must.
