Role Purpose:

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related documentation and procedures for the organization. This includes visa processing, licensing, permits, and ensuring compliance with local labor and immigration laws.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

Government Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with government agencies (e.g., labour department, immigration). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations. Handle visa applications, renewals, and cancellations for employees.

Documentation and Compliance: Ensure timely processing of labour contracts, permits, and other official documents.
Maintain records of government documents, ensuring they are accurate and up to date. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employment, visas, and business operations.

Employee Services: Assist employees with legal or official matters, including visa issues and medical requirements.
Guide new employees through the onboarding process, including medical tests and visa stamping.

Licenses and Approvals: Handle renewals, updates, and approvals for company trade licenses and other permits.
Monitor expiry dates and initiate timely renewals.

Problem Resolution: Address issues related to visas, fines, and legal notices promptly. Liaise with authorities to resolve any compliance or legal concerns.

Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit required reports to management on PRO activities.
Stay updated with changes in laws and inform the company of any implications. Represent the organization in government meetings when necessary


Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a PRO or in a similar role.
• Fluency in English and [local language]; additional languages are a plus.
• Valid driving license.
• Strong knowledge of labor, immigration, and government regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using online government portals and systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• UAE National with family book.
