Role Purpose:

The Team Leader - Soft Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day delivery of soft services, including cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and waste management, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction in line with client expectations and organizational policies.


Key Task and Responsibilities:

 Site Team leading and Mentoring:
• Support Soft services Supervisor and Ensures BICSc standards are understood and delivered on all contracts, with documented training and action plans in place.
• Takes Supervisor handover and pass on to the ground team and the small units.
• Support Supervisor to Follow up the need for operatives and housekeepers training for work method statements, work instructions, quality systems on ground.
• Ensures refresher training plans and On the Job site training plans and calendar and report the outcomes and needs to Supervisor.
• Provide nominations for excellent performance by rewarding and recognising high performers and those who demonstrate company values on ground.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and monitors the delivery of cleaning services with the small units on ground.
• Work with Supervisor on forecasting of supplier budgets and costing to enhance budgetary efficiencies.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and Ensures standardized documents are in place and is used uniformly.
• Work along ground staff daily Inspections and liaise with Soft Supervisor to inspect service delivery, materials, consumptions, training requirement, and suggest ideas on improving these areas.
• Support Supervisor to close out and action SSPCR inspections non-conformances on ground.
• Monitors timely attendance and reports discrepancies.

Resource Management:
• Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal use for the site.
• Ensures all operatives are BICSc trained, report non-conformance to Supervisor to schedule training for standard competency requirement as immediate.
• Ensures ground staff are aware of best sustainable practices for efficiency of use of Disposable personal protective equipment, cleaning consumables which impacts environment and enhanced waste handling practices.

Safety & Compliance:
• Ensures ground delivery Safe work and cleaning activity best practices
• Supports Health, Safety and Environment standards and best practices.

Quality:
• All Soft documents used are company controlled and approved.
• Auditable checklists are updated timely.

Branding:
• As Ambassadors, Monitors Grooming and Hygiene standards of Soft FM operatives and their uniform branding guideline and ensure this is followed.
• Ensures all members follows Grooming and hygiene guidelines.

Customer Satisfaction:
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively and ensuring timely resolution of any site issues to line manager who then reports to the client.

Quality Control:
• Implement and oversee joint inspections, ensuring all work meets the highest industry standards.
• Comply with the use of organisational procedures and policies governing Operational Services functions.


Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Secondary level or diploma. Additional FM or equivalent experience qualification in Facilities Management beneficial.
• Able to read and write and with minimum or basic command in English.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a property/ facilities management company.
• PBICSc holder is an advantage.
• UAE Manual driving license (number 3 and 5) is preferable.
• Preferably with previous proven record of versatility and hands on experience in Soft FM Portfolios and ground; strong communication and interpersonal skills as the job will involve in training with different nationalities.
