Role Purpose:

 This Role is for Khansaheb Facilities Management

The Head of Energy, Technology, and Innovation (ETI) will lead the strategic development and execution of initiatives focused on energy management, technology integration, and fostering innovation across the business. The role will oversee the implementation of sustainable energy solutions, drive the adoption of emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and automation, and support the company’s innovation agenda. This position is critical for ensuring Khansaheb FM stays at the forefront of technological and energy-efficient developments in the industry, contributing to improved service delivery and sustainability goals 

Key Task and Responsibilities:

 Strategic Implementation:

• Lead the Implementation of a forward-thinking strategy to drive innovation in energy solutions, focusing on sustainability, technology adoption, and digital transformation internally and externally.
• Identify new trends and technologies in the energy sector, including renewables, smart grids, energy storage, and energy management systems.
• Drive business development initiatives by identifying new markets, partnerships, and opportunities for growth in the energy technology sector.
• Collaborate with the business development team to create strategies for expanding market presence and revenue streams through innovative energy solutions.
• Set clear goals and objectives aligned with the company’s energy innovation and growth vision.

Energy Management:

• Lead the implementation of energy-efficient solutions and energy-saving initiatives across projects, aiming to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
• Conduct comprehensive energy audits for client sites and facilities, analyzing energy usage patterns and identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed energy audit reports with actionable recommendations to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of energy management systems, including HVAC, lighting, and building management systems (BMS).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external energy consultants to develop and implement energy-saving strategies that align with sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory energy standards and certifications, including LEED and other green building certifications.

Technology Integration:

• Oversee the integration of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and automation within facility management services to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to leverage technology for improved asset management, data analytics, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead the adoption of smart building solutions, including advanced CAFM systems, energy monitoring platforms, and automated reporting tools.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements and trends in the facilities management industry, ensuring Khansaheb remains competitive and innovative.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Drive a culture of innovation within the organization by identifying opportunities for process improvements and the adoption of new technologies.
• Collaborate with various teams to explore innovative approaches that can improve service delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Foster partnerships with tech providers, start-ups, and academic institutions to drive innovation and bring new solutions to the business.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of new initiatives, ensuring they align with overall business goals and provide tangible benefits.

Sustainability and Environmental Impact:

• Lead initiatives focused on enhancing the sustainability performance of assets, including energy audits, and water conservation efforts.
• Promote green building practices and work to achieve environmental certifications for client properties where applicable.
• Develop and implement strategies that minimize the environmental footprint of facilities under management, aligning with global sustainability trends.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

• Serve as clients' primary point of contact regarding energy management, technology integration, and innovation strategies.
• Provide clients with regular updates on energy performance, technological advancements, and innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring service delivery aligns with their sustainability and innovation goals.

Budget and Financial Management:

• Develop and manage budgets for energy, technology, and innovation projects, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through energy optimization and technological efficiencies.
• Provide financial forecasts and performance reports related to energy savings and the return on investment for technology and innovation initiatives.

Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in energy management, technology integration, or innovation roles within facilities management or a related industry.
• Proven experience in conducting energy audits and preparing audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Strong understanding of IoT, smart building solutions, and sustainability practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Proficiency in CAFM systems and energy management platforms.
