Role Purpose:

Job Purpose

The MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and directing day-to-day Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities. The role ensures that all installations, preventive/corrective maintenance, and equipment operations run smoothly, safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with relevant building codes, engineering standards, and HSE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Site Supervision

• Supervise daily site execution, installations, testing, and servicing across HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Assign daily task orders to technicians, contractors, and labor teams, monitoring productivity and quality of workmanship.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic layouts, and MEP specifications to guide field teams.
• Conduct routine site walkthroughs and engineering audits to evaluate system conditions and identify maintenance or installation issues early.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance (FM Focus)

• Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for plant equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, LV panels, generators, transformers, and fire pumps).
• Manage breakdown responses and emergency maintenance calls to minimize downtime and business interruption.
• Utilize CAFM / CMMS software to track maintenance work orders, technician logbooks, and asset history.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

Team Management & Subcontractor Coordination

• Directly lead, train, and evaluate site technicians, helpers, and specialist sub-contractors.   
• Manage shift rosters, attendance, overtime approvals, and daily task distribution.   
• Coordinate access requirements between client facility operations, tenants, and external service vendors

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or vocational technical qualification in HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing).   
• Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience as an MEP Supervisor or Lead Technician in Facilities Management
