The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and loading of specialised industrial materials—including phenolic panels, AC units, HVAC coils, and vehicle cages-to support manufacturing timelines and supply chain efficiency.
Material Handling: Proven experience handling oversized, fragile, and heavy irregular loads (e.g., sheet materials, mechanical
Equipment Familiarity: Expert operation of Counterbalance and Reach trucks; experience with attachments like fork extensions or clamps.
Precision Manoeuvring: Ability to safely load, stack, and unstack fragile AC units and HVAC coils without damaging delicate fins or copper tubes.
Spatial Awareness: Skill in navigating narrow aisles and tight production floors while transporting wide Phenolic panels or bulky vehicle cages.
Inventory Literacy: Proficient in using RF barcode scanners and reading digital picking sheets, SKU numbers, and warehouse tracking software.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 25 kg manually when assisting with securing or strapping loads.
Endurance: Capability to sit, bend, and 100k upward for extended periods while operating equipment.
Environment: Comfortable working in both climate-controlled environments and high-temperature outdoor staging or loading bays.
Material Handling & Equipment Operation
Safe Transport: Move phenolic panels, AC units, HVAC coils, and vehicle cages to designated production or storage zones.
Precision Stacking: Stack fragile AC units and coils exactly according to manufacturer orientation arrows to prevent mechanical damage.
Oversized Load Navigation: Manoeuvre wide phenolic panels and bulky vehicle cages safely through narrow warehouse aisles and doorways.
Attachment Utilization: Select and install appropriate forklift attachments, such as fork extensions, to support long or irregular loads.
Truck Loading/Unloading: Load finished products onto outbound delivery trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement
Quality Control & Damage Prevention
Visual Inspections: Inspect incoming components for visible damage before moving them.
Securing Loads: Verify that all pallets of vehicle cages and panels are securely wrapped, balanced, and strapped before transit.
Reporting Incidents: Report any stock damage, spills, or near-miss incidents immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
Equipment Care & Maintenance
Daily Inspections: Perform mandatory pre-shift checklists, checking hydraulic fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and mast operations.
Battery/Fuel Care: Charge electric forklift batteries.
Cleanliness: Keep the assigned forklift clean, clear of debris, and parked in its designated charging or docking bay at the end of the shift.
Warehouse & Inventory Administration
System Scanning: Use RF handheld scanners to log every material movement, update stock locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
Production Support: Give raw materials to floor on time to prevent manufacturing downtime.
Housekeeping: Keep aisles, loading bays, and emergency exits clear of empty pallets, packaging material, and debris.
Qualification:
License: Mandatory valid UAE RTA Forklift Operator License (Category 7/Light or Category 8/Heavy).
Education: High school diploma
Safety Training: Certified in Warehouse Safety, Hazard Communication.
Communication: Basic English literacy (verbal and written) to read safety signs, shipping manifests, and communicate with the floor team.
